Commonly used to fix plasterboard to metal studs. Coated in black phosphate providing minimal protection against rotting. Suitable for plasterboard, fibreboard and other insulation boards. The phosphate provides additional binding between the plaster and screw. Water-based fillers cannot be used with black phosphate.
